LOF Training workshops

Training workshops during April/May and a last round of Inset courses in July are being organized to support teachers with the implementation of the new syllabi in Kindergarten 1, Year 3 and Year 7 (Form 1) as from September 2018. These workshops follow earlier training sessions for SMTs held in March 2018.

During these workshops teachers will be provided with the updated version of the syllabi following the consultation meetings held with teachers in April/May 2017. Teachers will also discuss and explore methods of continuous assessment which will repl

ace the Half-Yearly examinations in Years 4 to 8 as from next scholastic year. Ways of enhancing standardization and validation of the continuous assessment will also be discussed.
